  • Overview

    Liveops is looking for a Director of Solution Marketing for its growing downtown Portland office.  This person will lead the solution marketing function by developing messaging, content, market positioning, innovative sales tools and enablement training for the growing sales organization.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Produce crisp and differentiated positioning and messaging across strategic verticals, priority use cases and target personas
    • Arm the sales organization with effective selling tools including presentations, collateral and thought leadership; train audiences to ensure messaging alignment at company
    • Develop data-based and market-driven insights for the company that quantifiably demonstrate the advantages of the Liveops BPO model and market fit
    • Develop competitive analysis against market landscape, identifying future opportunities of investment for the company
    • Maintain and own the RFP depository, enabling sales to grab the most relevant information quickly with an eye for constant improvement
    • Manage the Analyst Relations (AR) program at Liveops, ensuring key analysts are connected to the pulse of the company and mentioned in applicable publications
    • Be the primary point person who will lead the effort to bring new solutions and offerings to the market, including launch activities and communications across teams
    • Act as the leading product expert for the Liveops for external audiences including customers, analysts and the media

    Qualifications

    • 10 years of experience in solution and/or product marketing role, preferably in a B-to-B environment
    • Experience working closely with sales, product management, and corporate marketing groups to drive product content and messaging
    • Ability to articulate the business value proposition, best practices and lessons learned from customers
    • Experience with high-touch, enterprise sales cycles and ability to work with the sales team to close large transactions
    • Strategic thinking, business acumen, positioning/marketing savvy, product/technical depth, presentation skills, credibility with sales teams, customers, analysts and the media
    • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative sales tools to accelerate sales cycles.

     

    Workers in this position will be in a general office environment and required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds while operating office equipment and conducting daily duties.
