Overview

The General Ledger Team is tasked with completing the month end accounting including preparation of journal entries, closing the books and account reconciliations. As an Accountant, you will assist with the month end process as well as be responsible for several revenue campaigns from billing to ensuring agents are properly paid.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure LiveOps Agents are paid accurately and timely for any programs on the CMS platform
  • Assist Accounts Payable in ensuring Agents on other platforms are paid in an accurate and timely manner
  • Communicate with independent contractor agents to answer payment questions
  • Ensure proper billing of specific programs
  • Assist with all functions of general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end activities, balance sheet and account reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.
  • Identify and participate in the implementation of process improvements
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Five plus years of accounting experience
  • Computer literacy, including STRONG Excel experience. Knowledge of enterprise accounting software and ability to learn new systems.  NetSuite and CMS experience a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and participate as a team member
  • Ability to follow tasks through to completion and meet deadlines

 

Workers in this position will be in a general office environment and required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds while operating office equipment and conducting daily duties.
